Dari Artist
Born in Johannesburg, South Africa in 1957 and relocated to Toronto, Canada in March 2008 after being issued a work permit based on special artistic talent. I subsequently received the prestigious 0-1 visa to work in the USA and moved to Florida in 2009 and was naturalized as an American citizen in November 2014.
I’ve taken art instruction under Prof Lukas Van Vuuren, Eric Laubscher, Prof Jacob Pichhadze and Carel Van Biljon. My art works are to be found in private and corporate collections internationally: United States, South Africa, Australia, Germany, Italy, Belgium, France, United Kingdom, Canada and Poland (that I know of :).
I’ve exhibited internationally in group and solos shows, including in museums and universities. My "WOMAN EVOLVE" series of bronze sculptures are well known gender equality works and a statement against women and girl abuse. I’m also proud to be the artist of the 14,00lb granite Martin Luther King monument, installed outside the Northwest Regional Library in Coral Springs, Florida.
